Bryon Widner (Jamie Bell) was one of FBI’s most sought after white suprematists. Dressed head to toe with racist tattoos earned through hate crimes, he leads a destructive life, taking a path he can not undo. When he meets Julie (Danielle MacDonald) and her three daughters from a different relationship, it fulfills his desire for responsibility, paternity, and the idea of leaving the movement. He receives death threats and is harassed by his old gang as he tries to change his life. With the help of the FBI and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC for short), he undergoes 25 tough tattoo removal sessions. In return, officials are allowed to decode his tattoos, resulting in arrests and convictions of his former gang.
